Three Peaks Challenge

This itinerary which is unique to Wandering Aengus Treks, offers a fantastic hikers' challenge. On each of our mountain days, a tough and satisfying hike is rewarded by the comforts and local conviviality provided by the best of British pubs, inns and kitchens.

Beginning with an ascent of Y Wyddfa (Snowdon) in the rugged Cambrian mountains, we then move to the picturesque English Lake District to climb England’s highest mountain, Scafell Pike, and we finish the tour in the highlands of Scotland on the summit of Britain's highest peak, Ben Nevis.

Climbing all of the 'National Three Peaks' of Britain in one continuous round is a rewarding and comprehensive challenge and we take the strain by organising everything you need from the moment you join us until we say goodbye. By spreading the 'Three Peaks Challenge' over seven days, with one complete day allowed for each major ascent, we can choose the finest routes on each of the peaks, away from the more crowded standard trails. Between each of the big mountain days we have a relaxed journey and time for further walks and exploration.
