Accommodation included
As part of a package of guided walking or hiking in the Lake District, we also arrange accommodation in a farmhouse bed and breakfast or country pub in the unspoilt villages of Hesket Newmarket and Caldbeck (of John Peel fame). As well as providing an ideal base for exploring the Lakes or Borders these quiet Lakeland villages, off the main tourist track, remain in essence as they have been for a century. We provide a packed lunch on those days when we are out on the hill and evening meals are available at the Old Crown in Hesket Newmarket and the Oddfellows Arms in Caldbeck.
